The Park Crossing Thunderbirds proved the old adage of “bend but don’t break” is still in vogue on Friday.

The Thunderbirds’ defense gave up just over 300 yards offense but never allowed Stanhope Elmore to cross the goal line in a 19-0 win at Cramton Bowl.

The win was the first for Park Crossing (2-1, 1-0 6A-R2) over Stanhope (0-2, 0-1) in three tries.

Staff Report
(August 29, 2013)

"Just trying to keep it moving," he said. "We've got a lot of work to do. And we don't have a lot of time."
