LAMP 11, Luverne  1 (5 inn)

The LAMP baseball team used a strong pitching performance from freshman Luke Littlejohn and a nine-run fifth inning, as it raced past Luverne 11-1 in each team’s opening game of the 29th FCA Jason Armstrong Memorial Tournament Wednesday at Paterson Field.

Leading 2-1 heading to the bottom of the fifth inning, LAMP erupted for nine runs to end the contest early. The Tigers loaded the bases with one out, before senior Oliver Stephens was hit by a pitch to force in a run.
