Montgomery Academy’s game with Reeltown at Joe Mooty Court has been canceled, resulting in a forfeit victory for the Eagles.

Reeltown officials notified Montgomery Academy on Lady Monday of their decision and the Eagles will be credited with a 2-0 forfeit victory, extending their winning streak to 17 games.

Montgomery Academy (25-2) will return to action in the girls’ regional semifinals against the winner of Monday’s game between Pike County and Houston Academy. A Pike County victory would put the Eagles at home on Thursday at 6:30 p.m., while a Houston Academy win would force the Eagles to travel.

Reeltown does intend to play its sub-regional boys game at Catholic, but the game has been moved to Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Also, sub-regional games involving Wetumpka girls on Monday and Wetumpka boys on Tuesday have been rescheduled for Wednesday.

The Wetumpka girls will play host to Helena at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Wetumpka boys vs. Pelham at 6:30 p.m., both in the Wetumpka High gym.

Prattville Christian girls’ game with Beulah has been moved up to a 5:30 p.m. tipoff.

Alabama High School Athletic Association officials have stressed that the remainder of the schedule -- which includes girls’ regional semifinals on Thursday and boys’ regional semifinals on Friday -- will stay the same, urging schools to combine sub-regional contests if necessary.

Also, AISA officials have announced the postponement of all games on Tuesday. The new schedule will be released later today.
