PRESS PICKS: Expectations up and down after two weeks in SEC

What do we make of _______ ?
After two weeks of SEC football (and a few more of college football in general), there are questions. Lots of questions about teams that either A) Moved up in status or B) Fell after a lofty beginning to the season.
Start with Auburn. We all thought the win over Kentucky could be a mark of good things to come. Then came Georgia and we are now wondering just where this offense will go. Or will it? Consistently?
And speaking of Georgia, was that a show of superiority or just leaving a mediocre team in the dust?
Ditto for Texas A&M. The broken record says Alabama did the latter but it’s also safe to say the Tide has risen again.
Mississippi State? Tennessee? Not enough information. Ask in a couple of weeks.
Is Arkansas back? Probably not but the Hogs looked better.
Florida looks like a contender but defensively the Gators need to find more consistency.
Must we mention LSU? Beating Vandy was expected so, too early to tell.
Can we trust what we saw last Saturday? Not yet but remember that this is a season like no other.
